The Shane Wooten Band is about helping people have a good time the way we like to do here in the south and showing folks something they can’t wait to tell their friends about. Country Party. Rock Show.
Rootin’ Tootin’ Shane Wooten – Frontman. His country badass high kicks fly across the stage, cause he’s also a champion black belt. Watch out for his explosive energy. “Hey-yi-hey-yi hey.”
Nicapopalas - Guitar, backup vocals. The ever-smiling sidekick, Nic talks the other members off ledges and back on the tour bus. “That’s cool, man.”
TDM - Bass. Little is known about the mysterious man in the Hill Billy baseball cap. But judging by the all-consuming flames tattooed on his forearms and perfect set of teeth, you probably don’t want to find out what T.D.M. stands for. “I don’t want to have to kick you in the nuts. But I will.”
Ziggy - Fiddle. Watch close. When he plays fire shoots from his fingertips. Which makes you wonder what kind of deal he made to get in this band. “I’ve got no rosin not to.”

Shane Wooten loves freedom — the freedom to dream bigger than you
should, to live the simple country life, to enjoy a good time and good
music with friends. He’s overcome his share of hard times, and that’s
reflected in his music and the stories he shares on stage.
He scored his first #1 Florida hit single with “Shovel’n Sunshine” and
never looked back. Since then Shane has been touring Nationwide
playing his brand of Country music and producing reality show style videos
of his adventures. Shane is beening added to radio stations and internet
stations for rotational play and request shows worldwide on daily basis.
Shane’s latest recordings were produced by the Bellamy Brothers. You can
hear their legendary voices on “Running with a Redneck Crowd” written by
Clyde Howell, which has already hit #1 in Florida on Clear Channel and is on the American Country Music Chart’s Top 100 songs for 2011. And, “Pit-bulls and Chainsaws” written by David Bellamy.
Speaking of radio, Shane is the executive producer and host of the FL
Country Buzz which has aired weekly on the 50,000 watt Thunder Country
WTRS 102.3 covering 13 counties in North Central Florida since 2009.
And, he added the American Country Music Chart Countdown to his resume
as of January 2011 as the host of the upcoming syndicated radio and
Recently, Shane and his guitar player Nic Ward started off 2011 with the
Shane Wooten Band’s Walk Across Florida which started in Daytona Beach
and ended 167 miles away in Clearwater Beach benefiting Ronald McDonald
House Charity of Central Florida.
Shane kicked off a fairs and festivals tour across the United States, Shane dubbed “Corndogs and Ferris wheels” to celebrate his new #1 Florida hit single “Running with a Redneck Crowd” featuring the Bellamy Brothers, which Shane released in the State of Florida in October of 2010 and was quickly shot to the top
of the year end voter’s choice chart done by Clear Channel radio and is
in the Top 100 on the American Country Music Chart.
“I never imagined having the opportunity to work with the world famous
Bellamy Brothers, let alone receive a #1 hit single right along with
them,” said Wooten. “I am truly grateful for everything that has
happened and can only hope to continue to perform for more of my friends.”
In addition, Shane is no stranger to the big stages playing with country
greats, such as the Bellamy Brothers, Josh Gracin, Marty Stuart, and
Charlie Louvin to name a few to crowds as large as 20,000. Shane and his
band have proven to be consistent time after time in their ability to
deliver a high energy show that entertains a crowd of any size. Shane
Wooten Band has played CountryFest 2011 with Marty Stuart, Festival of
the Beach with the Bellamy Brothers, 4 Independence Day Festival and
Fireworks shows, County fairs, UCF Arena as the first Artist to play the
UCF Knights men’s basketball half-time show. And, just completed a month
long Mid-West tour performing at some of the biggest fairs and festivals
in the Illinois and the surrounding areas.
“The band and I love playing to a huge crowd of thousands just the
energy that they give you back is indescribable and they let me break
out the t-shirt cannon! [Laughs] However, I get just as fired up for a
crowd of few hundred and do a more intimate show where I can really
connect with the audience.”
Shane loves his fans. He personally interacts with all his friends/fans
on the social networks responding back to all emails and communications.
Shane works as hard as he plays. He creates a lot of the posters for his
shows and works on several websites. You may be surprised to learn that
in spite of a troubled academic life up to high school; Shane earned his MBA
from Saint Leo University and a BA in Psychology from the University of
Central Florida with honors.
Shane is passionate about protecting children. Six years ago, he started
the Toys for Tykes Country Jam, a Christmas toy drive for abused and
neglected children in his home town of Ocala. His charity event has
worked with Harley Davidson, Youth and Family Alternatives, Kimberly’s
Cottage, and Children’s Home Society.
